This website is dedicated to the roleplaying game, Traveller. There are over half a dozen variants of the game. I've tried them all and prefer Mongoose Traveller, 2nd edition, and Classic Traveller (the original). Here you'll find sample campaigns (some still active) from each of these two and various game aids that should make it easier for you to play.
And actually not the original 1977 version, but the 1981 update which corrected a couple of key errors and was easier to read and follow. Simple, deadly, and quaint.

This version is true to the original and beautifully rendered...if not always easy to follow. A bit more complex, just as deadly, and very appealing to new players and old alike.
